La Mimosa is one of the flats that are part of Valle a Polvereto, an ancient 22-hectare farm estate nestled among the vineyards of Chianti. We are in Montespertoli, between the hills of Siena and Florence, in a strategic position for exploring the magnificent surroundings such as Monteriggioni, Siena, Certaldo and Volterra.
La Mimosa is the result of a skilful renovation of an ancient 17th century estate. It is spread over 2 floors, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people.
The flat has a large outdoor terrace perfect for organising your dinners en plein air or for relaxing while enjoying the view of the garden and the surrounding hills with a glass of wine. The terrace leads to a bright living room with sofa and satellite TV. An open archway leads to the fully equipped dining room/kitchen. A wide wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where we find the 2 double bedrooms and two bathrooms both with shower. On the top floor is another single bedroom open onto a gallery accessed by a spiral staircase - please note that this room has a limited height.
We value the privacy of all guests and take great care to maintain a quiet environment where you can relax in peace. For this reason, the minimum age to stay with us is 14 years, and we do not accept animals.
Guests of course have access to the outdoor swimming pool, the dimensions of the pool are 7 metres x 14 metres, depth from 1.20 to 2.10. The pool is at your disposal from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is open from 1 June to 30 September. The pool area and gardens are shared with other guests.
Although we are in the open countryside, the first town is about 7 km away, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, where you can find shops, activities and village fairs in the summer months, a reference supermarket (Coop), and a laundry.
The property cannot be reached by public transport. The private access road is about 600m of dirt road in good condition.
The accommodation is part of an agritourism where there are other rental properties. The outdoor areas and the swimming pool are shared with the other guests. The maximum capacity of the Agriturismo is 24 persons.
